There are lots of ways to get involved!

Are you interested in activities happening in and around CedarCreek?  Would you like to connect with other folks who have similar interests?  Or do you have some ideas, talents or resources that you'd like to contribute?   Here are some of  key areas we are focused on.  To find out more or to volunteer, please contact the leadership team member assigned to these areas. 

Welcoming Ministries:  We want to make sure everyone feels welcomed when they come in the door whether it's their first time visiting, or their 100th Sunday in a row.  This team hosts the Welcome Table and provides greeters for seating and attendence tracking. They take care of the always important Sunday morning hospitality-ensuring that we all get coffee and food!  They also participate in visitor follow-up with the Pastor, and help develop the tools we use for inviting people to join us. 

Worship Life:   CedarCreek has always been blessed with a dynamic worship experience and great music from our worship band 'Crave'.  This is the team that makes that happen week to week.  Since we meet in a school gym, these dedicated folks ensure facilities are setup every week and take care of our excellent lighting & sound. They're also responsible for themes & arts, media, communion, and ushers. 

Congregational Care:  We all have times of need as well as times of celebration.  This team helps ensure times that we are meeting the specific needs of individuals in and around our church family.  This includes special benevolence, health ministries, fellowship opportunities, prayer and visiting the sick or shut in.  It also includes taking care of specific needs or other 'helps' opportunities, as well as grief care and baby showers. 

Spiritual Formation:   Our relationships with God and one another are cornerstones of our purpose at CedarCreek.  One of the best ways to make "CedarCreek Connections" is by participating in one of our ongoing adult friendship groups and bible studies.  This team helps individuals and families find small group activities and groups to plug-in to for learning,  development, support, fun and fellowship. They also help coordinate other Special Activities, and support children's education and programs. . . Outreach:  Reaching beyond our walls is an important part of our lives as Christians,and our purpose at CedarCreek.  We are actively involved in living out our faith by building relationships with the community outside our church.  This team helps us do that through a variety of connections and support opportunities.  We participate in local community service and partnership opportunities, as well as national and worldwide. 

Communications:  How do we keep track of what's going on, 'who's who', and how to find us?  The communications team works to ensure that everyone can find the information about CedarCreek that they need or want.  They work to keep this info clear, easy to get to, transparent and consistent.  They are responsible for the website, our monthly newsletter, advertising, and signage. 

Chair:     Have other questions or ideas?  The person in this role facilitates keeping all these areas and their leaders in order and accountable.  The chairperson works with the pastoral staff in the areas of vision and goals.  They also handle a large portion of the 'logistics' for the Leadership Team, the Staff and other committees.  This servant leader can help you get connected with any of these ministries, or with other opportunites throughout the life of our church.
